Alma Fuerte means strong soul, and it is the cigar that announced Plasencia as a brand in its own right after generations of growing tobacco for everyone else. Blended by Nestor Andres, Gustavo and Jose Luis Plasencia, it is a Nicaraguan puro built on a Jalapa wrapper aged around ten years over a vintage core of Criollo 98 leaf drawn from Jalapa, Condega and Esteli.

Tasting Notes

Smoking Time (Average): 60-75 Minutes

Leather and baking spice on the cold draw, then a creamy, dense smoke that opens with espresso and dark chocolate. Toasted almond, plum and cinnamon build through the middle, and the finish settles on oak, molasses and a lingering pepper. Full bodied but smooth, with the depth that only long aged leaf delivers.
