Plasencia | Year Of The Snake

El Ano de la Culebra is Plasencia's limited edition for the 2025 Lunar New Year and the fifth release in the family's Chinese Zodiac series. Only 6,000 boxes were produced worldwide. Each ten count box holds eight straight lanceros plus two more twisted together into a culebra, a nod to intertwined snakes and a modern take on a format traditionally made with three cigars. Every cigar in the box is a Nicaraguan puro from Plasencia family farms.

The narrow lancero ring gauge sharpens everything. Rich earth and baking spice lead, with roasted coffee and leather filling the middle and a touch of molasses sweetness lifting the finish. Soft pepper runs throughout. Medium to full bodied, smooth and balanced from the first third to the last.
