The newest permanent member of the Redbreast family, and the one that departs furthest from the template. Alongside the usual ex bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, Master Blender Dave McCabe brings in cream sherry casks from the Antonio Páez Lobato cooperage and ruby port casks, adding a layer of berry fruit and chocolate over the familiar pot still core. It was created to bridge the gap between the younger and older expressions in the range.

Tasting Notes
Delectable berry fruit aromas of ripe blackcurrant and raspberry, with sugar glazed cherries and dried fig. Indulgent hazelnut chocolate and caramelised stone fruit follow, with warm toasted almond and cinnamon nestled alongside polished oak and worn leather. Full bodied and rounded on the palate, the oak tannins complementing a decadent sweetness of sun kissed grapes and autumnal fruit, while vibrant ginger spice and a hint of liquorice weave through the wine seasoned oak influence of dried fruit, dark berries and orange peel. Rich and lasting on the finish, the pot still spice, fruit and oak fading together in balance.
