A hazy, salty, and gloriously expressive orange wine from Macabeu and a touch of rare Cartoixa Vermell, made by Italy's most celebrated natural wine pioneers who moved to Catalonia to rescue forgotten indigenous vines.
Tasting Notes
Pale amber-gold with a natural haze from being unfiltered and unfined. The nose is open and expressive with aromas of salty lemon, mandarin, Mediterranean herbs, and a distinctive stone fruit depth from brief skin contact. On the palate it is crisp and textural, building to a gentle richness on the finish. A wine of saline freshness and real personality.

About the Producer
Partida Creus was founded in the early 2000s by Italian architects Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, who left their careers in Piedmont to settle in the remote village of Bonastre in Catalonia's Baix Penedes. There they discovered abandoned vineyards planted with indigenous varieties that local farmers considered worthless, and began the work of rescuing and reviving them. Today the estate works with over 30 native Catalan varieties including Sumoll, Garrut, Cartoixa Vermell, and Vinyater, producing wines of saline freshness and real Mediterranean character. Partida Creus is one of the defining names of the Spanish natural wine movement.
