About this wine
A skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc from Giulio Armani's Denavolo project in Emilia-Romagna, orange in hue, apricot and citrus on the nose, with a distinctive lightness and salinity on the palate that sets it apart from almost any other orange wine you'll taste.
Open 15 minutes before serving.
Tasting notes
Finely contoured orange hue. Apricot, citrus, and wild herbs on the nose, with an underlying freshness that keeps it lively. The palate surprises with its lightness for an orange wine, a distinctive salinity and mineral character rather than heavy tannin. Aged on lees for several months after maceration, giving it texture without weight. Denavolo's house style expressed through a single variety.
Goes with
Grilled seafood, fish, light pasta with citrus sauces, fresh herbs, and soft cheeses. Also excellent with spiced vegetable dishes.
