A biodynamic Sauvignon Blanc from Alexandre Bain's Pouilly-Fumé domaine, whole-cluster pressed and concrete-fermented, aged on fine lees without filtration or sulphites — richly aromatic, energetic, and mineral, from clay-limestone hillside vineyards worked with horses.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw with vibrant clarity. Rich and floral on the nose with hazelnut, acacia, hawthorn blossom, citrus zest, and honeyed exotic fruit. Energetic and textured on the palate with orchard fruit, spiced apple compote, golden plum, and crushed stone minerality, finishing with electric acidity and a crisp citrus note. Biodynamic Sauvignon Blanc made without compromise or commercial concession.

About the Producer
Alexandre Bain took over his family's Pouilly-Fumé vineyards in 2007, farming biodynamically with horses and making wine with zero added sulphites and no filtration. His wines are among the most honest and compelling expressions of Pouilly-Fumé available, offering a very different perspective on a well-known appellation.
