A benchmark Verdicchio Classico from one of the Marche's most respected natural estates, combining the grape's signature almond bitterness and mineral freshness with a depth and complexity that puts it among Italy's finest white wines.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold with a faint green hue. The nose is complex and inviting with aromas of white peach, lemon zest, wild fennel, and almond blossom. On the palate it is medium to full bodied, dry, and vibrant with a lively acidity, a pleasantly bitter almond note on the finish, and a long, mineral persistence. Le Oche (The Geese) is regarded as one of the estate's finest expressions of Verdicchio.
