A bright, crunchy Morellino di Scansano from Maremma's most dedicated natural producer, made entirely from Sangiovese on organically farmed old vines and aged in cement to let the grape's character shine without interference.
Tasting Notes
Vivid ruby red in the glass. The nose is fresh and expressive with aromas of red cherry, strawberry, black pepper, and a light earthy, savoury note. On the palate it is bright and crunchy, medium bodied with a pleasing Tuscan tannin and a clean, refreshing finish. Classic Sangiovese without the weight of heavy oak ageing.

About the Producer
Antonio Camillo spent 25 years working as a winemaker for other estates in the Maremma before venturing out on his own in 2006. He works 9 hectares of hillside vineyards near Capalbio, farming organically and exclusively with native Tuscan varieties including Vermentino, Sangiovese, and Ciliegiolo, on old vines aged between 40 and 50 years. In the cellar, he uses almost exclusively cement containers to let the flavour of the grape come through unaltered, intervening as little as possible. His wines are a genuine expression of southern Tuscany's wild, coastal landscape.
