A refined, organic Spätburgunder from Württemberg's Remstal valley, made by Andi Knauss from single-vineyard Pinot Noir on sandstone soils with 8 months in barrel, delivering the kind of savory elegance that makes German Pinot Noir one of the world's best-kept secrets.
Tasting Notes
Clear ruby red with a light garnet edge. The nose is elegant and precise with aromas of red cherry, dried rose, a hint of earth, and a delicate spicy note from barrel ageing. On the palate it is light to medium bodied with silky tannins, bright acidity, and a long, clean, savoury finish. This is Pinot Noir that prioritises freshness and precision over weight.
