About this wine
The fuller, richer sibling to the Carte d'Or from Jean-Paul Deville in Verzy, blending more Meunier into the Pinot Noir base for a Champagne of deeper colour, red fruit character, and a slightly more generous palate.
Serve at 8 to 10°C in a wide wine glass.
Tasting notes
A Champagne with more depth than its entry-level sibling. The higher proportion of Meunier adds red fruit character and a rounder mouthfeel, while the Chardonnay contributes freshness and structure. Good vivacity on the palate, well balanced, with a clean, persistent finish. Extended bottle ageing before release gives it polish and integration.
Goes with
Aperitif, oysters, smoked salmon, and light starters. Also works alongside roasted poultry.
