Description

Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a bigger, bolder take on the Islay classic. First matured in ex-bourbon barrels, the whisky is then transferred to small quarter casks, increasing the contact between spirit and oak. Bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill-filtered.

Tasting's Notes

Full and mouth-coating, layering intense peat smoke, seaweed and medicinal notes over vanilla, caramel, coconut and gentle spice, finishing long and warming. One for the peat lover.
