Vegueros translates as "Farmers", and the brand is a tribute to the generations who have grown tobacco in the Vuelta Abajo of Pinar del Río, where it was tradition for the farmers to roll their own cigars for visitors. Every vitola in the range takes its name from the farmers' own vocabulary, and Mañanitas is no exception. It means "little mornings", the short smoke a veguero would take at first light before the work in the fields began.

Tasting Notes
Smoking Time (Average): 30 Minutes
The smallest cigar in the Vegueros range, hand rolled at the Francisco Donatien factory in the city of Pinar del Río from long filler and binder grown in the Vuelta Abajo. Four inches gives it no time to wander, so the blend arrives whole from the first third: earthy tobacco, cedar and a clear note of black pepper, with leather sitting underneath. Medium to full bodied and surprisingly complete for its size.
Country & Region
Cuba, Pinar del Río, Vuelta Abajo
Occasion & Pairing
Made for when time is short. Pairs well with morning coffee, bourbon, aged rum, cognac or a glass of port.
