A skin-contact Cortese from Valli Unite in the Tortona Hills, where the normally fresh and mineral white grape is given extended maceration to produce an orange wine of real textural depth and the same racy mineral character as the San Vito Timorasso.
Tasting Notes
Pale amber-gold with natural haze. The nose carries summer flowers, yellow plums, and wild herbs with a more textural, grippy depth from skin contact. On the palate it is dry and savoury, with a pleasing tannic bite, good acidity, and a long mineral finish. The Cortese grape's natural freshness is preserved despite the maceration.

About the Producer
Valli Unite is a cooperative of 35 producers founded in 1981 in the Tortona Hills of Piedmont, farming 100 hectares across 35 members with a shared commitment to organic viticulture and natural winemaking. Since converting to organic methods in 2006 and adopting spontaneous fermentation in 2013, they have become one of northern Italy's most respected natural wine estates. The cooperative model means the wines reflect a genuine community effort rather than a single winemaker's vision.
