Mersel Elevate Marini, made from the rare indigenous Marini grape grown at around 1,800 metres in Blouza, pale ruby with red cherry, strawberry, herbs and tomato leaf, light bodied but textured and mineral driven.
Tasting Notes
Pale ruby red with delicate transparency. Fresh red cherry and strawberry on the nose, with subtle herbal notes and a touch of tomato leaf. Light bodied but textured and mineral driven, offering juicy red fruit, gentle peppery spice and a clean, lingering finish. Marini is a lesser known Lebanese variety and this is one of very few single varietal bottlings of it anywhere. Fermented in Georgian qvevri, then aged in Lebanese amphora.
